Customized 650VAC input power module project
The standard input voltage range of our class A level charging modules is 285-475Vac, three phase+PE. And the class B level charging modules’ input voltage range is 260-530VAC , three phase+PE.
Question is: are these standard input voltage ranges able to cover all standard voltage for our customers from different areas? Obviously, the answer is not 100% certain.
Our Canadian customer came to us and put forward their needs. The rated input voltage in their area is 600VAC, which causes the limited usage of our standard charging modules. We evaluated the possibility of this customized project and decided to tailor the power module to meet their demands.
We designed this 50kw 650VAC/1000VDC charging module MXR100050B-SE especially for our customer. Which helped them completed their 300kw EV charging station successfully. Also, in the future, they plan to develop higher power split charging stations.
